Job Description

Creates and monitors database management rules, processes, and standards. Enhancements to the system’s performance and reliability are proposed and implemented. Qualifications:
- Handles database issues, including issues with performance, capacity, replication, and other distributed data concerns.
- Using Microsoft SQL Server, set up and carry out administrator tasks like database management, user management, and storage management. Create and take care of training manuals, system configuration specifications, and other internal system documentation.
- The person in this role is in charge of overseeing and keeping an eye on the company’s policies and procedures for keeping the database’s integrity and security. For the best database setup, performance, and cost, the person in this role optimizes database access and re-allocates resources.
- The physical database design, performance and tuning, backup and recovery operations, and other distributed data problems may be addressed using these techniques.
- Administrates the database on a technical and operational level. Installs, maintains, develops, and executes policies and processes to ensure the security, availability, and integrity of the organization’s databases and massive data warehouse database settings.
- Contains an analysis as well as definitions of the various technical standards associated with database resources. Functions of analysis and design are provided for both new and existing system architectures.

Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline and at least two to five years of experience designing and operating Microsoft SQL Database Solutions are needed. Alternatively, an equivalent mix of education and work experience is necessary.
- Design and building of files, retrieval of information, and the establishment and documenting of standards are all parts of data management.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Database Administrator on projects and contracts of comparable extent, kind, and complexity is needed. Five (5) years of relevant programming language expertise, such as Java, C++ or C, Perl, JavaScript, UNIX, XML, or HTML.
- The ability to successfully build a data dictionary and database system. Both familiarity with credit union software and past experience designing comparable apps are needed qualifications.
- Work well in a team atmosphere with an emphasis on customer service and solution ownership. Ability to fulfill deadlines and prioritize
