Job Description
The Production Artist’s main job is to make print and digital mechanicals. This individual will work closely with our internal studio team in addition to project managers, stakeholders, producers, art directors, and designers. Expertise in digital and print file setup is required for this position. At every stage of a project’s development, they must be able to think ahead and address potential problems before they arise. You need to be very methodical and focused on finding answers. They must also coordinate with both internal and external parties on specifications, file delivery, assets, costs, and billing.

Qualifications:
- You must be able to troubleshoot art/embellishment problems and find a quick solution when proofreading tech packets for faults.
- Get the artwork in its different versions ready for production, and fix any artwork problems that crop up.
- Maintain an up-to-date mechanism for tracking file modifications and informing teams of any changes made during production.
- works closely with the design team to examine layouts, recipes, and the proposed concept in order to successfully complete each design.
- Capacity to do what one is told when designing derivative things and scaling up an existing style and feel.
- All submission documents must be created, approved, and updated as appropriate.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, artists, and industrial designers to ensure printed materials remain true to their intended design.
- The brand must be kept uniform when it is applied to various items through various distribution channels.
- With great time management skills, responds promptly to many projects and deadlines.
- As issues develop, resolve them with the printer and the creative team.
Skills:
- Effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels are essential.
- You need to be comfortable using FlightCheck, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, among other software packages.
- Needs to be proficient in MAC OS and all related software, especially Adobe Illustrator.
- At least two years’ experience in the field of graphic design, garment design, or apparel product development.
- You are comfortable managing the print process with a vendor and driving them to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
