Job Description
A Radiologist assists the physician during percutaneous peripheral vascular operations under the general supervision of a Radiologist. Use clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment to perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties during vascular cath procedures in accordance with departmental and professional guidelines. Pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care evaluation will be provided to patients. Maintains and updates any procedures-related information.

Qualifications:
- Keeps medical and surgical procedures clean, uses good techniques to prevent infections, and can fully explain the universal precaution principle.
- Capable of assessing discomfort interfering with an imaging test and contacting the relevant physician for assistance. Comprehends and participates in the PI process.
- Greets patients and walks them from the exam room to the radiology, Positions the patient on the x-ray table so that x-rays can be taken. Tells the patient how to hold their breath, hold their body in the right place, etc.
- Dispenses medications or contrast media in compliance with federal and state regulations. Notes the patient’s strange behavior while he or she watches. Inspects processes and makes suggestions for changes as necessary..
- Maintains adherence to the department’s exam protocols, modifies patient procedures in accordance with the patient’s physical and cognitive capabilities, and accurately bills for all examinations carried out.
- Monitors records of pictures captured and routed to radiologist in order to guarantee that all findings are provided to the treating physician and patient, Organizes and stores all radiological pictures in accordance with the procedure
- Marks patient ID, date, technologist ID, and test time on all exams. Insurance for vacations and surgeries. State, federal, and agency regulators create rules.

Skills:

- Having expertise in every field related to diagnostic imaging, A minimum of two years of prior experience in Radiology, with the latter being the more desired option. Competence in taking patients’ vital signs
- Preferably, a year of experience in acute clinical radiography, as well as knowledge of current BCLS, state, and federal laws.. Authorization for fluoroscopy must be obtained (AHA). Seals of approval from JRCERT or ABHES may be shown.
- A bachelor’s degree from an approved medical or osteopathy university, as well as a current residency in a radiology program, are required.
