Job Description
We are now looking for a Medical Office Manager to oversee the practice’s daily operations. The Medical Office Manager will be responsible for assisting the doctors group in growing the practice via marketing activities and boosting referral-based business. Furthermore, the Medical Office Manager will oversee all areas of the office’s day-to-day operations, including as recruiting, training, and scheduling.

Qualifications:
- Contributes to budget development and the alignment of operations with organizational objectives, as well as the achievement of performance and budget targets, in collaboration with senior management and other team members.
- Organizes and oversees medical office and clinic activities. This job manages scheduling and call-offs. Securing adequate office space, supplies, equipment, and support for medical personnel and patients.

- Direct supervision and coordination with the IT department for the creation of financial report requests and the verification of the accuracy and validity of the reports created are both required.
- In the event of a shortage, this position orders office and medical supplies and ensures that acceptable stock levels are maintained at all times. Participates in the budget preparation and execution process with the Clinic Administrator.
- Preparing a wide range of financial estimates, including payroll and direct spending for cost centers, month-end accounting, receivables levels, and any long-term strategic goals for the department, is the responsibility of this position.
- ensure that all policies and procedures, particularly those related to maintaining patient confidentiality while also complying with the standards of appropriate regulatory agencies at both the systemic and departmental levels (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, Department of Health, etc.).

Skills:
- Sufficient competence in speaking, reading, and writing English is required to execute the fundamental responsibilities of this position, particularly actions affecting patient or staff safety or security.
- Knowledge of organizational rules and procedures, as well as the ability to apply concepts to address daily issues in a range of scenarios, are required.
- Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) or certification must be obtained within one year of commencing in the role and maintained with appropriate CEs afterwards.
- Patient registration, billing, accounts receivable (AR), and cash management needs, as well as health insurance procedures, business office operations, and industry standards for revenue resolution strategies in the health care sector, must all be acquainted to the prospective employee.
