Procurement, vendor relations, production, logistics, and distribution all fall within the purview of the Supply Chain Manager’s responsibilities. Involved in developing and implementing supply chain management strategies for production and operations Manages demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to guarantee that the company’s resource needs are met. Securing resources to meet client requests and assure delivery and/or implementation is a primary responsibility of this role.

Qualifications:

  • Capable of leading workers in departmental operations such as communication, training, goal attainment, short turnaround times for tasks asked by top management, progressive punishment, and performance review.
  • Client problems and problems with the company’s products and services should be solved. Customer complaints about the quality or manufacturing of a product should be brought to the attention of the right people.
  • Work with the Purchasing Manager and Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager to ensure product availability. This will enhance customer service.
  • Maintain thorough records, prepare reports, and create presentations to assist management in understanding the logistical viewpoint.
  • Directly oversees the company’s supply chain management operations as well as its overall strategic direction and tactical execution.
  • You’ll need the ability to coordinate with other departments across different functional areas, be able to communicate effectively, and be able to record your work.
  • Manage warehouse operations, which include receiving raw supplies, delivering completed items, and arranging both in the warehouse space.
  • Leading the internal project to develop and maintain an effective and accurate physical inventory system, including ERP transaction correctness, physical inventory events, and cycle counting as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis and make sound judgments when weighing choices. Senior leaders are expected to communicate clearly and concisely about problems and possible solutions, and to provide statistics to back up their claims.
  • Improve operational accuracy and efficiency by identifying and driving opportunities for continual improvement.

Skills:

  • Assuring that the system’s performance is being evaluated and assessed, and then taking steps to improve or correct this performance in order to accomplish its goals.
  • Experience and a thorough grasp of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in a manufacturing and distribution context; advanced capacity in balancing procurement, inventory management, and customer satisfaction within the ERP system settings
  • Assume more responsibility and take advantage of educational opportunities.
  • Strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership approach, production techniques, and coordination of people and resources are just few of the business and management concepts that one should be familiar with.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills are needed to propel the company forward and take action, as well as the ability to quickly and enduringly connect with people all over the world.
