Full-Time Physician (Radiology) – Wadi Al Fora’a

Job Description

Technical aid and support are provided to the physician during percutaneous vascular operations by a Radiologist. It is anticipated that the radiologist would execute scrub and hemodynamic monitoring activities with carotid artery catheterizations in line with professional and departmental standards of practice and regulations. Care evaluation will be provided to patients before, during, and after the procedure. The person responsible for preparing and maintaining all relevant process information.

Qualifications:

  • Before commencing the PI process, determine whether the patient is experiencing any pain that might impede.
  • Follows the department’s exam procedures, makes changes to the procedures based on the patient’s physical and mental abilities, and bills for all exams done in the right way.
  • Maintains medical and surgical aseptic procedures and performs effective infection control measures; is able to provide a comprehensive explanation of the universal precaution concept;
  • Within the acknowledged area of practice and appropriate state and federal standards, prepares and administers contrast media or medicines Observes the patient during the surgery and notes any unusual behavior. Recommends changes to procedures based on the results of ongoing monitoring.
  • provides diagnostic assistance to patients by doing organ or body scans and supporting physicians with interventional therapies. Before preparing and putting patients, accurately evaluates their demands in terms of anatomical and technical factors.
  • Meets and greets patients, escorting them from the exam room to the radiography department, and Patient is positioned on the x-ray table in the right manner for the production of x-ray pictures; patient is given instructions on how to adequately arrange their body, including whether or not they should hold their breath, etc.
  • The nurse does operations on the patient in a safe and effective way. Radiation safety rules are always followed to the letter when they are needed. Keeping a good understanding of how the heart works and how clinical procedures work.

Skills:

  • The state may demand licensing and/or a fluoroscopy permit. Current BCLS certification is required (AHA), A minimum of one year of acute clinical radiography experience is desirable. JRCERT or ABHES-approved program graduate
  • Well-versed in every facet of diagnostic imaging, A minimum of two years of prior experience in Radiology, with the latter requirement being highly recommended. Having experience taking vital signs
  • Graduated from an accredited medical school or osteopathy school, and currently enrolled in a radiology residency program
  • authorized to practice by the relevant board. Required to have a fellowship with the American Board of Radiology, Be required to maintain their membership in the Medical Protective Association (or equivalent).
  • Eligibility for registration as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), a Registered Radiologic Technician (RT(R), or a Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), or a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist is required. Additionally, a Registered Radiologic Technician (RT(R), or a Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), or a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist is required (RCIS)
