In this role, you’ll be tasked with activating one-of-a-kind consumer insights to boost brand performance, brand equity, and market share. The Marketing Associate provides support to the Manager in the areas of consumer communications and innovation, as well as in the team’s search of insights that enable a deeper understanding of the brand’s target audience and the creation of unforgettable brand experiences. The Marketing Associate is accountable for developing and executing initiatives that support the Marketing Manager’s goals for the brand’s communications and innovation strategies. This job collaborates closely with agency partners on communications strategy, planning, and implementation. Those in this role collaborate across departments, including Sales, Shopper Marketing, Operations, Product Development, and Finance, to increase demand for a company’s goods and services.

Qualifications:
- Assist in determining the best interaction approach and campaign structure to reach consumers at the right time and place.
- Oversee all branding-related projects and ensure they are executed in a way that demonstrates an understanding of important consumer insights and the ability to activate them through appropriate communications and innovation initiatives.
- Agency and cross-functional team management, strategy, planning, execution, and results measurement are leading initiatives within the communication strategy focused on certain touchpoints or consumer goals.
- Lead projects that promote the brand’s promise of nutrition, health, and wellbeing, and identify possibilities for innovation and renovation.
- Applying methods of digital intelligence, evaluate the current state of consumer/brand demand.
- Utilize market and consumer data and trends to gain a more in-depth understanding of the demographics, psychographics, and behavioral motivators of the brand’s consumer or a specific consumer category.
- Prove you can keep projects on track and under budget, and show you can evaluate investment opportunities in a way that minimizes risk while maximizing return. Recognize and drive communication opportunities that will stimulate the brand’s health, nutrition, and wellness offering.
- Makes use of information gathered from consumers, retailers, and the market as a whole to advise management on how to best allocate resources between sales and marketing in order to maximize the brand’s annual revenue target.
- Support the brand’s requirement to have consumers recognize and comprehend what the brand represents in their minds, including the brand’s identity, essence, vision, mission, and fundamental values, in order to drive pertinent communications and innovation.
- Organize consumer communications initiatives that create a creative space that brings the brand to life and enables efficient customer communication with a focus on digital and social media.
Skills:
- Experience in generating insights from data and trends to comprehend customer behavior is preferred.
- Experience developing strategic brand/product plans, such as communication campaigns, commercialization strategies is preferred.
- Working with interdisciplinary groups and outside organizations is a plus.
- Possessing a background in media and digital marketing strategy implementation would be a plus in the role of project manager.
- A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or product management are prerequisites. Alternatively, a master’s degree in business, marketing, an MBA, or a closely related discipline is necessary.
