Qualifications:

- Take into account the overall impact of particular projects before elevating issues or risks to the portfolio or program level.
- Coordination with Project Managers, other IT departments, and vendors.
- help project managers uncover what they need to know in advance to create accurate time and resource estimates by coordinating with stakeholders, IT resources, and suppliers.
- Serve as an impartial arbiter and problem solver inside the program as needed. Recognize the right channels and techniques for escalation.
- Oversee the program’s financial planning and coordinate with upper-level management, project leads, and suppliers to maximize the project’s return on investment.
- Control programs and/or a number of other, ongoing projects that aren’t necessarily tied to one another.
- Manage program’s budget, work on multiple projects, handle conflict/issues, and track progress.
Skills:
- The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate with both technical and business users.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 12 years of experience managing IT projects, including full lifecycle management of medium- to large-scale initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of and ability to manage Project and Software Development Life Cycle(s) using both Agile and Waterfall approaches.
