As a Program Analyst, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of difficult management and program analysis tasks. Qualifications:
- Consider the present management and program guidelines to see whether they need to be clarified.
- Be cognizant of political events, terrorist threats and security sector dynamics, human rights circumstances, and administrative management issues that might influence the ability to conduct counter terrorism assistance and/or capacity building programs.
- assess whether a nation is politically safe by conducting in-depth interviews and on-the-ground inspections, while also keeping an eye out for potential threats.
- Adapting or devising new ways for examining specific findings and tracking progress requires a high level of knowledge.
- Determine the efficacy and efficiency of the organizational unit’s organizational structure, management policies, practices, and procedures, and administrative operations, processes, and mechanisms, and then select the most effective methods, procedures, and systems to use in assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organizational unit’s structure and management policies, practices, and procedures.
- Long-term research projects requiring a significant investment of time and resources may be carried out using a wide variety of management and organizational strategies and processes, including ways for budgeting.
- Keep up with legislative and policy changes that affect the government’s attitude and reactions to issues that are important to the country or region.
- Documentation of specific activities, processes, and procedures should be supplied as how-to/Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation after an investigation of current practices.
- Intense program/project financial data and other complicated contract, project, or business related issues are included in client briefings and reports provided by the IT BMO.
- Modify national initiatives that have an impact on the country in question, either directly or via third parties or international organizations.
Skills:
- Possesses the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with members of the government’s foreign policy and intelligence agencies at all levels.
- At least two years working in a BMO or PMO is required for consideration (e.g. financial management, schedule management, risk management, communications management)
- Becoming an expert on a certain topic, program, or development in a given speciality area requires knowledge of a number of different geographic or functional specialties.
- E-Verify is a government-mandated system that verifies employment eligibility for all new recruits. As a condition of ongoing employment, the new hire must take active actions to fix any differences found by the system, which is mandated under federal law.
- Experience creating project and program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones for complex programs, systems, or problems of essential relevance to a whole company.
