Job Description
A Safety Coordinator assists in the administration and execution of a safety program, coordinates safety operations with other departments, and gives administrative and technical assistance to supervisors and employees to guarantee that safety control mechanisms are in place. Ensure that all Federal and state safety rules, regulations, and procedures and processes are followed.

Qualifications:
- Assist with the project’s safety plan and zero-accident culture implementation (s).
- Participates in and conducts safety meetings. Plan, prepare, and present or organize the delivery of safety-related trainings to a number of departments on a monthly basis.
- Managers and supervisors receive guidance and assistance in creating a safe working environment. It’s important to buy, operate, and install safety or hazard control equipment.
- Assists in the timely completion of all required tests, inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on safety-related equipment and systems. Assures that defects are evaluated for ILSM risk and remedied in accordance with policy.
- Hearing conservation, chemical inventory/control, hazardous communications/SDS, ergonomics, and other programs are all established and implemented. Annual audiometric testing is scheduled and delivered or arranged.
- Regularly evaluate your workplace for potential dangers and install hazard controls before an accident happens. Determine whether any employees are participating in potentially dangerous safety behaviors and, if so, whether more training is necessary.
- Assist with the updating and auditing of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lockout Procedures, as well as ensuring that personnel are appropriately taught in them.
- Conduct accident investigations and collaborate with managers and employees to devise plans to avoid future mishaps. Implement the strategy and track its progress.
- This work requires regular and predictable attendance, as well as the ability to safely perform jobs and follow all safety regulations and procedures.
- Employees, supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders are counselled and provided technical help on issues such as worker’s compensation and fitness for duty decision.
Skills:
