Full-Time Seasonal Lifeguard – Al Harajah
Job Description
Protecting swimmers and spectators by enforcing safety regulations, providing first aid, and reacting appropriately to crises are just some of the responsibilities that fall to lifeguards. Individuals need to be able to work both individually and as part of a larger team in order to succeed. Ability to interact with the public politely and responsibly in a variety of scenarios is required for this role. There may be times when lifeguards are called upon to perform shifts that include nights, weekends, and split hours.

Qualifications:
- Responds courteously to members and visitors’ enquiries, provides information within the scope of the assignment, and resolves concerns in a timely and effective way.
- Assume responsibility for the pool deck, the break room, the restrooms, and the drains.
- Pool house and gutters, as well as pool water chemicals, are looked after by the person who works at the pool.
- Adheres to all pool-specific safety rules and procedures and ensures that these safe work practices and procedures, as well as established policies, rules, and regulations, are followed.
- When teaching children to swim or spending time with their families, keep an eye out for any violations of the pool’s laws or regulations that can jeopardize their health and safety.
- To perform the requirements of this profession, you must be able to read, write, interpret, and communicate in English.
- Surveillance of members and guests utilizing the pool area, as well as enforcement of all Club safety rules and regulations.
- You’ll need to thoroughly clean everything from the pool decks and furnishings to the fence and flowerbeds to get your backyard ready for summer.
- To manage aquatic services as defined by the club, such as providing swim classes, monitoring group swim activities, and assisting with other aquatic program activities.
- The lifeguards are also responsible for avoiding accidents and ensuring that the water is safe, in addition to their primary duties.
Skills:
- Requires at least a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Having the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, departments, and the general public is a must.
- Working with children and people who have impairments is a must for this position.
- Professional rescuers must have current American Red Cross CPR, Community First Aid, and Lifeguard training.
- There must have been at least three months of work as a lifeguard.
