Job Description
The Software Project Manager supervises projects. The Software Project Manager duties include the coordination and execution of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, allocate duties and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The selected applicant will work directly with customers to ensure deliverables stay within the appropriate scope and budget. He or she will work with other departments to ensure all components of each project are compatible and will acquire additional personnel as required to suit customer demands.

Qualifications:
- Analyzes risks and trigger events, organizes risk response, establishes contingency plans, forecasts dependencies influenced by current project changes, and proposes ways to minimize future risks to management.
- Assumes responsibility for developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge and control over the project’s budget and financial elements, which includes coordinating and directing all parts of project scheduling, resource forecasting, financial management, and other relevant operations
- Resource demands, a clear understanding of business objectives and functional knowledge input are all part of the job description of a project manager.
- When a project starts, it has to be thought through. It has to be planned out. It has to be written down. It has to be done.
- Employees from all levels of a company, in addition to technical team members, must be taught and trained in the project management discipline, which is a significant task.
- Contributes to the project’s success by providing the team and stakeholders with subject matter expertise and knowledge management, and by delivering high-quality products on schedule.
