Job Description
The Program Manager is in charge of overseeing program execution and delivery. Responsible for developing the program strategy and benefits, as well as ensuring that each project has the required strategy and benefits to meet the program’s goals. The Program Manager should be able to communicate with executives in both official and casual settings. Capable of effectively elevating and managing program-level challenges and risks. Align project scheduling, strategy, and objectives effectively to support the program in a more useful way than managing individual projects. This position necessitates the ability to manage people at all levels and assure their success in managing and supporting IT initiatives. It is necessary to be able to lead, coach, and mentor. Responsible for assisting with internal process improvement projects and improving project management skills. The capacity to embrace transformation trends supporting technology (cloud, automation, resilience, security) and execution methodologies (agile, waterfall) as appropriate is required for the position.

Qualifications:
- Keep the client at the center of your attention as you work to implement critical initiatives with the help of stakeholders, vendors, and IT personnel.
- Manage the program budget process and work with managers, project managers, and vendors to optimize project resources.
- Coordinated discovery including stakeholders, IT resources, and vendors can help project managers create up-front estimates of time and resource utilization.
- liaise with vendors, other IT business units, and project managers.
- When necessary, arbitrate and settle conflicts within the software. Understand acceptable escalation routes and processes.
- Manage the program’s budget, work on several initiatives, deal with disagreement and concerns, and track progress.
- Recognize the impact that individual projects have on the program or portfolio and use discretion when bringing risks and difficulties up to the program or portfolio level.
- Manage projects that aren’t always related or interdependent, such as numerous programs running at once.
- Provide project managers with leadership, develop a positive team atmosphere, and provide direction in confusing situations.
- Use your negotiation skills, influence, and creativity to acquire the results you desire in terms of scope, time, expenses, budget, issues, and risks.
Skills:
- Capacity to pay close attention, identify root causes of issues, and effectively convey information to users at both the technical and business levels. Capable of conveying ideas clearly both orally and in writing.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary.
- college degree with four years, particularly in computer science, information systems, or a technical field related to it.
- At least 12 years of experience managing IT projects, including end-to-end experience for medium-to-large projects and programs.
- In-depth familiarity with the Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies, as well as experience managing their respective life cycles.
