The Account Director plays a crucial role in our sales team and is responsible for producing revenue across digital, social, print, and platforms through prospect identification, strategy development, presentation preparation, program package and schedule negotiation, and feedback to management. - Communicate with your split partners, finance, and marketing, as well as any other relevant internal parties, to keep them abreast of account developments, new bids, and staffing shifts.
- To maximize sales efforts, collaborate with the Marketing Services team to develop and offer innovative solutions for clients.
- Business plans should be made on a yearly and quarterly basis to guide revenue growth and strategy throughout the entire account portfolio.
- Identify potential customers within the predetermined target industries, interact with them, and encourage a sale.
- To successfully communicate the company’s message to clients, make use of marketing and sales materials, graphic presentations, research reports, and sales support data.
- Prospect and close deals with a high level of expertise in the mid-market as an individual sales contributor with extensive experience.
- Accountable for revenue generation through the sale of cross-platform, multi-media advertising packages that incorporate video, social media, print, digital, mobile, tablet, and live event programming.
- Establish and maintain contact with key opinion leaders in advertising at both the agency and client levels.
- Create and illustrate for the client a range of feasible solution options.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the sales communication and negotiating process, including providing accurate and timely business estimates, projections, and administrative documents to upper management.
- There must be a minimum of two to four years of expertise in platform-integrated outside sales.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact confidently and effectively with people at all levels of an organization.
