Job Description
For several customers within our International Accounting Firm, the Tax Associate will collaborate closely with other members of our team on all aspects of project and engagement management. Tax return preparation and review are among the responsibilities, as is working directly with customers to offer planning, counseling, and compliance knowledge, as well as aiding with client management and practice growth initiatives, among other things.

Qualifications:
- Preparation of tax returns, extensions and quarterly tax payments, including but not limited to monitoring of all compliance status and filing status.

- Providing people with estate and gift tax preparation, as well as charity giving and philanthropic services, to enable them to leave lasting legacies.
- Developing your accounting skills through making financial statements from bank accounts, logging journal entries, and creating personal balance sheets/net worth statements, among other things.
- Preparation of various international assignment cost projections; preparation of tax returns for expatriates; preparation of equalization and other miscellaneous tax forms for expatriates.
- Prepare tax memos and letters to clients, as well as provide advice on a wide range of tax issues and conduct research and assessments on tax issues as a whole
Skills:
- Telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages. Expertise in the use of personal computers is a plus.
- An organized and flexible professional with a track record of successfully managing many projects and procedures while adhering to tight deadlines, both inside the company and with external stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and CPA, as well as 3-6 years of tax experience with a big CPA firm and/or a public company’s corporate tax department, are required for this position.
