- Assist with the updating and auditing of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lockout Procedures, as well as making sure that employees are properly trained in them.
- Managers and supervisors are given advice and assistance in creating a safe work environment. Purchase, utilize, and install safety or hazard control equipment.
- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify possible hazards and implement hazard controls before an accident occurs. Determine whether any employees are participating in potentially dangerous safety behaviors and, if so, whether they require more training.
- Assist in putting the project’s safety strategy and zero-accident culture into action (s)
- Ascertains that all required safety-related equipment and system testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs are accomplished on time. Ascertains that problems are evaluated for ILSM risk and fixed in line with policy.
- Safety meetings are attended and led by him. On a monthly basis, plan, prepare, and present or organize the delivery of safety-related training to various departments.
- This individual develops and implements hearing conservation, chemical inventory/control, hazardous communications/SDS, ergonomics, and other programs. Annual audiometric testing is scheduled and either provided or arranged.
- This job requires reliable attendance, the ability to accomplish jobs safely, and adherence to all safety standards and procedures.
- Investigate accidents and work with management and staff to develop measures to prevent future incidents. Implement the plan and keep tabs on its development.
