Qualifications:
- In charge of a self-directed team of workers (s). Staff members are selected and mentored by the manager. The overarching direction of the team is established. Identifies and conducts training programs for team members.. Makes decisions on remuneration, employment, and firing.
- Oversee the timely and correct completion of all documentation involved with incoming and outgoing cargo movement. Maintain cost constraints while ensuring timely pick-ups, recoveries, deliveries, and airline and agency choices. Contribute to the formulation and approval of rate quotations or shipping pricing for internal and external clients.
- Contributes to the department’s or division’s aims. This person’s feedback influences products, service techniques, and/or business goals. A project manager is responsible for coordinating action plans to attain goals/objectives.
- An orientation, skills and safety training, necessary documents, and other educational resources should be provided to all department staff as part of their continuous education.
- Keep maximum confidentiality while ensuring that the region is run successfully, professionally, and in accordance with business policies and procedures.
- Issues impacting collaboration, process, resources, and other duties should be communicated to workers and others. It is necessary to communicate with and engage with the local Field Engineer on a daily basis.
- The shift supervisor is responsible for training and supervising customer service, data entry, and/or dispatch and warehousing staff. Customers both internal and external should be treated with the utmost respect and care by all employees.
- Attempt to spearhead activities inside your department or bank. You may also lead or participate in Federal Reserve System work groups or projects in this position.
- In compliance with the company’s internal rules and state and federal standards, accurately administer the department’s administrative activities, including accounting, reporting and recordkeeping.
- It’s important to make sure that the Federal Reserve’s and the Treasury’s currency operations manuals are followed.
Skills:
- A minimum of two years’ relevant work experience is required (preferably in a cash handling environment). Candidates having a background in banking will be given preference. Supervisory experience in an operational team or a functional area is required for Level II. Level III requires a minimum of five years of professional experience. Experience in working with people and demonstrating outstanding leadership are two examples of important work history.
- The internet, Microsoft Office, and specialized applications are all well-known. In addition to US and foreign currencies, weight, volume, and distance may all be used in the multiplication and division process.
- Shown that they can lead others. The ability of a person to give other people work and/or responsibilities so that both the organization and the person can work as efficiently as possible. Customer-oriented. Customers and their needs must always come first. To be successful, you must be able to make and keep good connections.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferable in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum four years of experience in the field. Minimum of two years of experience supervising or leading. Minimum industry experience of two years is desired.
- For 1 year of experience, a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field may be substituted; for 6 months of experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field may be substituted.
