Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all areas of the supply chain and operations of the firm, including procurement, vendor relations, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Develops and executes strategies for managing supply chain processes in support of manufacturing and operations. Ensures resource needs are met by supervising demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement. Communicates with executives to get the resources necessary to meet customer requests and to assure delivery and/or execution.

  • Improve customer service and satisfaction by working closely with the purchasing manager and the senior supply chain planning manager in order to reach appropriate inventory levels.
  • The whole supply chain management role, as well as the planning and directing of the company’s activities and operations, come under this mandate.
  • Complaints from customers should be conveyed to them, as well as any troubles they are having. Customer complaints concerning product quality or manufacture should be sent to the appropriate individuals.
  • Improve workplace accuracy and efficiency by streamlining procedures and putting a plan in place for ongoing improvement.
  • Receive raw supplies, transport completed items and organize both in the warehouse area in the warehouse function.
  • Analytical and decision-making abilities based on personal experience and instruction. A senior leader’s job is to communicate effectively and to back up their statements with data.
  • Responsible for keeping meticulous records, compiling reports, and developing presentations to aid management in understanding the logistical perspective are all aspects of the job.
  • It is necessary to have abilities in project integration and planning, as well as communication and documentation skills, as well as the capacity to manage and prepare project team resource requirements in collaboration with cross-functional departments.
