Job Description
It is the job of the Product Specialist to keep track of internal product data, run reports, and analyze data to support the business choices of Product Managers and Category Management team members. Distribution and Operations teams collaborate and communicate with each other on issues such as back orders, discontinued products, product transitions, and replacements.

Qualifications:
- Comprehends all aspects of the industry and its competitors as well as customer needs, distribution techniques and firm products.
- Perform on-site repairs and/or assist/direct customers with repairs or start-up of business goods as needed in order to provide the best possible service for the firm’s products.

- This post manager is responsible for overseeing initiatives related to manufacturer back orders, discontinuance, replacement, and product transitions. The Operations team benefits from the coordination and communication of the project’s strategy.
- Acquire, maintain, and enhance knowledge of key product offerings, scope papers, and current department rules and processes in order to deliver correct answers to customers.
- Go-to-market strategies and product documentation are critical to a successful mass solution adoption, and here is where the product documentation comes in.
- All customers, both internal and external, are treated to outstanding customer service and technical competency.
- Implement a daily delivery schedule that maximizes the utilization of current equipment, staff, and resources in order to maintain an efficient operation and meet or exceed the expectations of your customers.
- Assisting with escalations if necessary and giving updates to the client is part of the issue management process.
- The cross-functional team member participates in product launch activities. Examples of potential tasks include managing SKU setup, pricing assessment, ROI model creation, or providing input and comment on marketing materials as well as conducting training and webinars and making the occasional presentation to customers.

- You must be physically and mentally well in order to have a good sense of humor. Standing for lengthy periods of time is also necessary.
