Job Description
A Tax Associate position is available at our office, where you will be responsible for the preparation of a wide range of tax returns for individuals, corporations and other legal entities, including trusts, estates, and gifts. In addition, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax services that will allow you to both grow professionally and enhance the firm’s reputation. In your role as a Tax Associate, you will learn about numerous aspects of taxes, including tax paperwork documentation and other tasks, all while working under the guidance of seasoned tax professionals.

Qualifications:
- Operates in complete accordance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering obligations.
- Gaining experience in the field of accounting through learning how to create and record financial statements from bank accounts and other sources, as well as how to generate personal balance sheets and net worth statements.
- Interested in boosting your professional career and polishing your customer service and technical accounting skills in order to create new doors for yourself and your future.
- Make sure that you’re working hard to improve your administrative, professional and interpersonal abilities if you want to be more efficient and effective in the workplace.
- Revisit accounts and activities, and perform reconciliations of income tax balances (including income tax due and deferred tax assets and liabilities), as well as the general ledger accounts of the Tax Receivable Agreement (“TRA”), which includes international withholding tax and franchise/gross receipts taxes.
- Keep track of everything that needs to be done for tax compliance. This includes but is not limited to tax returns, extension requests, and quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Analyze and explain complex tax problems to clients, write memorandums, and produce client letters.
- offering assistance to individuals in order to leave a lasting legacy by preparing estate and gift tax returns, making charitable contributions, and providing other philanthropic services
- report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulations, even if it’s only suspected or confirmed, to management. This includes fraud, even if it is only suspected.
- International assignment cost projections for expatriates, foreign nationals, and other mobile and distant assignee are calculated and prepared.
Skills:
