Job Description
The Software Project Manager is responsible for the administration of projects. The duties of the Software Project Manager include the coordination and execution of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Ensure that all components of projects are completed successfully. Establish timelines, delegate duties, and track and report the project’s progress. Prepare status reports on the project’s status for higher management. The selected applicant will collaborate directly with customers to ensure that deliverables remain within the scope and budget established. He or she will collaborate with other departments to ensure that all components of each project are compatible, and will recruit additional expertise as required to meet client demands.

Qualifications:
- By converting company strategies into tactical action items and educating and developing lower level project managers, this position ensures that the demands of customers and businesses are met.
- Change, procedure, and best practices are promoted to business and technical team members via project management training.
- All components of the project lifecycle are planned, documented, and carried out, including scope management, requirements management, work breakdown schedule and timetable management, priority and dependency management, and the assignment of roles and duties to project participants.
- Analyzes risks and trigger events, prepares risk response, establishes contingency plans, anticipates dependencies influenced by existing project changes, and recommends strategies to minimize future risks to management in order to control and mitigate project risks.
- The project team and stakeholders benefit from the subject matter expertise and knowledge management provided by the project manager, who also assures customer satisfaction via the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Ensure that cross-functional project teams perform their allocated responsibilities on schedule and within budget. Keep track of how effectively your project’s execution plan is performing in respect to the project’s overall deliverables.
- Control the creation of all project deliverables, including design papers, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation, to ensure their quality.
- This position is responsible for all aspects of the project’s plan, including scheduling, global resource forecasting, project financial management, and providing input and justification for expenses and budget effect. This position is also responsible for the overall project’s financial management.
- Recommends or requests resources to satisfy project needs, conveys a clear picture of business project goals and objectives and gives functional knowledge input for deliverables worked on by the team in a complex and big project management team
- Process improvement approaches such as lean manufacturing, storage, and distribution should be utilized to project efforts where they are necessary and feasible.
Skills:
- Expertise developing and managing projects of all sizes over the course of six years (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, process management, organizational change).

- It is necessary to have good communication skills in order to analyze project progress and resolve key issues/milestones with the project team members. Process flow of work, Excel, and Power Point are essential.
