Job Description
The HR Specialist will be in charge of a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources-related activities, policies, processes, and procedures, particularly Leave of Absence.

Qualifications:
- Supports local recruiting and outreach efforts in coordination with the centralized team to meet or exceed monthly and annual recruitment targets. Ensures a positive candidate experience, while also ensuring managers are satisfied.
- Human resources (HR) rules and procedures are explained to employees (e.g. Time Off with Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.).
- Processes leaves of action in the Company’s timekeeping system and ensures that FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and local regulations are followed.
- Answers employee personnel questions and makes necessary modifications, additions, and deletions to the HR Information System. For follow-up, reports unexpected or unresolved issues to the HR Manager.
- Develop regular and special reports by analyzing trends and pinpointing high-priority problems that have little room to mistake.
- Retains records of all insurance and retirement plans, as well as all personnel and payroll-related operations (such as hiring, promotion/transfer, performance evaluation/termination, and so on).
- Processes performance reviews, wage/salary transactions, and disciplinary actions in the Company’s HR information system on time and within approval permission.
- Performs new employee onboarding, including data input into the HR Information System and new employee orientation. Ensures that data is entered accurately and thoroughly, and that staff are well-versed in Company rules and procedures, including the information in the employee handbook.
- You will be engaging employees and resolving issues quickly, with professionalism while maintaining tact. You should also escalate concerns as appropriate to management when necessary. The goal of this position is to provide facility management, Regional HR and Corporate HR insight into employee worries or complaints on behalf of the company.
- Work with leaders to develop and deliver suitable interventions that will help the organization achieve its goals and align its culture with the company’s vision.
