Job Description
Our company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. Person will work with a chart of accounts, balance general ledgers, maintain records and documents electronically, prepare financial reports, process payrolls and maintain employee records, prepare monthly and quarterly client billings and perform other administrative functions as required.

Qualifications:
- Ascertain that cash handling procedures are adhered to. Noncompliance is recorded, and problems are resolved with the principal as necessary.
- Check to ensure if your financial records are up to date and reliable.
- Modifications to the budget that have been proposed are tracked until the budget is finalized.
- Before comparing purchase orders to activity funds, make sure money is available, distribute cash, and acquire administrative permission.
- Answering the phone and maintaining office equipment are among the duties of a clerical worker.
- Connections with route workers on a daily basis, including matching pertinent tickets.
- Collect all insufficient funds or other returned checks from the bank as soon as possible.
- Finance, accounting, or management bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong knowledge of the Clover POS system and the QuickBooks accounting software.
- This role necessitates three years of bookkeeping experience.
Skills:
- The fundamentals of bookkeeping and accounting for payables and receivables are well-understood.
- Time management and organizing skills are essential.
- Data entry skills and an understanding of numbers are both essential.
- Negotiation skills and a commitment to client service are important.
- It’s necessary to know how to use Microsoft Excel.
