Qualifications:

  • Adheres to Company safety regulations to keep the working and shopping environment clean, safe, and hygienic. Observes all Company rules and procedures.
  • Answer clients’ queries and provide product recommendations for the department.
  • Some of the procedures taken to ensure that things are exhibited in the best possible light include arranging items in specific locations and removing cardboard after purchases have been made.
  • For new water connections, complete the relevant paperwork and collect any deposits. Month-to-month bill production is taken care of. The Water Crane is used to collect money from the public.
  • Maintains a polite and customer-service-oriented demeanor by welcoming customers, answering queries, and carrying items when necessary.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of a business or workplace by doing chores like as mopping floors, cleaning spills, and other routine housekeeping jobs that need the use of specialized equipment.
  • Collects shopping carts and places them in the cart corral. Maintains a clean parking lot and communicates with management about any occurrences, acts, or concerns that occur on store property.
  • Prepare and disseminate reports, issue bulletins and notifications, and do other administrative activities as required. Ordering and delivering goods to the workforce are a few examples of these responsibilities.. Perform clerical activities as needed.
  • Maintain the floor scrubber, waste compactor, and cardboard baler equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with the stipulated safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify problems before they become serious and alert the department or store manager who is responsible for fixing any that are found to be broken.

Skills:

  • Understanding and ability to read and interpret brief communications and memoranda. Correspondence writing skills. Skills in one-on-one communication and small-group presentations to business partners, customers, and coworkers.
  • The ability to read and write in a clear and succinct way in the English language. Ability to communicate successfully with the public and coworkers; Ability to read and comprehend papers and produce regular reports.
  • One to three months of relevant experience and/or training; a combination of education and experience that is equivalent; or a high school diploma or a general education degree.
  • The ability to execute operations on numbers in all units of measurement (including whole numbers and common fractions), as well as to divide and multiply them, is essential.. Ratios and percentages may be calculated. Maintaining a cash drawer’s balance is as simple as knowing how to count back change and count money.
  • Phone calls and walk-in consumers may be handled with ease. To ensure accurate data entry, this position requires attention to detail. Calculator and Microsoft Excel and Word skills are a must. The ability to relate well to others and a desire to help others are two prerequisites.
