Seeking an innovative and diligent Videographer to spearhead the incorporation of video material into our marketing plan. You will be in charge of the marketing website’s video production and editing, giving site visitors and potential customers a chance to educate themselves as part of the business growth process. Qualifications:
- Helps plan, direct, and record video shoots using expertise in videography, production, and post-production.
- The media coordinator and the director of multimedia work together to plan media intake and coverage.
- Establishes in advance the lighting, sound, and backdrop needs for video projects, as well as any other technical specifications.
- Provides necessary personnel with information regarding the technical specifications and operation of the requisite technical equipment for each event.
- helps develop, test, evaluate, and update the video style palette.
- Helps other Technical Services team members as needed with duties that are not connected to video.
- Contributes to the Technical Services group by helping with video creation and editing.
- Responsible for making appropriate purchases, leases, and/or borrowings of equipment within agreed-upon budget parameters after consulting with the Technical Director.
- collaborates with the team and the location staff to prepare and document the pre-shoot.
- Makes recommendations to the Technical Director and Deputy Director of Operations regarding capital purchases of video equipment.
Skills:
- At least five years of experience in digital and multi-media work (including videography and video editing) and a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in a related discipline.
- experience using one’s own judgment to protect confidential data.
- Ability to work effectively in and adjust to a fast-paced, cross-unit team setting.
- Having the skills necessary to effectively teach and collaborate with partners from various internal and external groups as well as part-time video production team members.
- Possess the people skills necessary to collaborate well with a big and varied cast of on-screen performers, team members, partners, and stakeholders.
