Part-Time Wedding Videographer – Mecca
The services of a Videographer are sought by our company. This role’s primary responsibility will be to coordinate the creation and curation of video content. The ideal candidate will be a filmmaking pro who knows their way around an educational documentary.

- Works with the Technical Services team to provide assistance with video filming and editing.
- The crew and the location staff work together to organize and document the shoot’s setup in advance.
- Determines in advance the technical supports, such as lighting, sound, backdrops, and specific requirements, required for video productions, including lighting, sound, and backgrounds.
- Coordinates the scheduling and arrival of media with the Director of Multimedia and the Media Coordinator.
- Contributes to the creation, application, evaluation, and updating of the video style palette.
- Purchases, rents, and/or borrows equipment as needed, within financial constraints established in consultation with the Technical Director.
- Provides advice on video equipment purchases to the Technical Director and the Deputy Director of Operations.
- Provides support to other members of Technical Services on non-video related duties as needed.
- Assists appropriate staff in understanding the technical requirements of each event and how to best utilize technical resources.
- Participates in pre-production, shoot management, and post-production of videos.
- at least 5 years of professional experience in digital and multi-media, along with a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience, to include videography and video editing.
- the ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive material.
- Having the expertise to instruct and work with partners from a wide range of internal and external organizations, including members of a part-time video production team, is essential.
- The capacity to work effectively and appropriately in a dynamic, cross-unit team context.
- Possess the ability to collaborate well with a wide variety of on-camera talent, team members, partners, and stakeholders.
